I always take special care to any celebrity’s appearance as the face of luxury brands. Also, I am a big fan of Burberry, especially its classic English checked pattern. Emma Watson, the Harry Potter starlet 19-year-old British actress has recently modeled for Burberry ’s Fall/Winter 09 collection. Here I want to share some photos from Emma Watson’s Burberry ad campaign.



In these photos, the young actress looks very chic and stylish. Thanks to her role as Hermione in the Harry Potter films, she is successfully selected by Burberry. These photos are captured by fashion photographer Mario Testino in Westminster. Christopher Bailey, Creative Director of Burberry says, “Having known and admired the lovely Emma Watson for quite some time, she was the obvious choice for this campaign who like the images she fronts, has a classic beauty, a great character and a modern edge… Emma’s charm, intellect and brilliant sense of fun made the whole shoot feel like a picnic on the Thames.”
The campaign breaks in the August issues of magazines including Vanity Fair, Vogue, British Vogue and Tatler. It also will appear on the brand’s Web site early next month to coincide with the magazines’ releases. In August, an interactive digital campaign directed by Bailey that includes podcasts and behind-the-scenes footage will appear on the Burberry site.
